I had actually started writing this a year...Thanks. I had actually started writing this a year ago on notebook paper all at different times while watching Demons on VHS and then on DVD on my computer. I had about a third of what you see here. But as you could probably imagine, that was a huge pain in the ass to do.

Once I got the new Synapse Blu-ray, I slid the DVD into my computer and the rest of it came together a lot faster. I could easily switch between the audio tracks and backtrack with a single click. I went over all of my previous notes and checked out other spots where I knew there were changes, and along the way I even found out some things that I had never noticed.

Watch a few movies, take a few notes... it was fun! It ended up being a lot of work but I stuck with it for a couple hours each of the last three days. I felt like I did a good thing by incorporating screenshots of every single particular scene I typed up, as it would serve as easy reference for someone else to see what I'm talking about if they wish to do so.
DrunkethWizerdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09925215482421450517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2784114063719933269.post-5860568874028934162014-03-13T11:33:02.524-05:002014-03-13T11:33:02.524-05:00I'm ashamed to admit that the first time I saw...I'm ashamed to admit that the first time I saw Demons was via the original Anchor Bay DVD. So my first introduction to the US Mono track was via a New World Laserdisc to DVD-R I downloaded some years later. Not having been the way I originally heard Demons, I will say that the US Mono track is by far the way to go. Although I'm glad that the Synapse Blu-Ray contains both English variants.

Thanks for putting together such an exhaustive comparison. I found this to be a very interesting and informative read. This would have made for a nice extra on the Synapse disc.Anthony1138https://www.blogger.com/profile/05248412350057541992noreply@blogger.com
